All students are welcome to sign up for these lessons. Beginner lessons are taught in small groups of up to 3 students, giving everyone the chance to learn in a supportive environment.
We have a limited number of spots available, and typically, we receive two to three times more registrations than we have hours to offer.
To manage this, we use the following system for allocation:
Once lessons are full, any extra applications will be placed on a waiting list.
Each lesson is 20-30 minutes long and takes place during school hours, starting in February and running through November.

To manage this, we use the following system for allocation:
- Priority for music curriculum students: Students taking music as a curriculum subject get first priority. Senior students are allocated lessons first, as these lessons are essential for several of their internal assessments. After that, lessons are allocated to junior students in order of year level.
- Co-curricular involvement: Students involved in our co-curricular music programme are given the next level of priority.
- Remaining spots: Any remaining places are allocated to other registrants on a first-come, first-served basis.
